In 1995, after marrying my husband Michael, I embarked on a journey from my hometown in Shelbyville, Indiana to Bloomington, where I began my career in the title industry at Monroe County Land Title, also known as TitlePlus! Over the course of more than two decades, I honed my skills in the title industry, predominately as a licensed real estate closer. Then, after many years in the title industry, I decided to make a bold move and venture into the world of lending with German American Bancorp.
In 2017, I seized an exciting opportunity to join Ruoff Mortgage, a locally owned and operated lender serving the state of Indiana.
Beyond my daily work, I proudly serve on the board of the South Central Mortgage Bankers Association and hold affiliate memberships with the Bloomington Board of Realtors and the Monroe County Builders Association. In addition, I served as a five-year member of the Auxiliary to the Bloomington Boys and Girls Club as the Sponsorship Chair.
Currently, I am in my ninth year serving the 12th Man Club — the football booster organization — as president where I have contributed in various roles in my time spent there. Next year will mark my fourth and final year as president of the organization. My commitment to community development extends further with my involvement in two Women’s Build projects for Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County.
Beyond my professional sphere, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four children — Jackson, Sydney, Trenton, and Camden. Our family life is rich with activities, from attending sporting events to indulging in shared interests such as yoga, baking, hiking, reading, and boating.
As I continue to balance my thriving career, community engagement, and family life, I believe each day brings new opportunities for growth and contribution to the vibrant community of Bloomington.
