Greetings and a huge THANK YOU for landing on my page. My name is Ellen Vance and I have been helping people purchase and refinance homes since 2012. Currently my title is Senior Loan Officer at Ruoff Mortgage where I have a team of people working with me to ensure our borrowers have the best possible experience when navigating the mortgage world. 

My entrance into this business was somewhat unplanned, but it quickly became a calling I wholeheartedly embraced, and in my 11 years as a mortgage loan officer, I've cultivated a straightforward, honest, and empathetic approach to my work. I have dedicated myself to assisting clients in navigating the complexities of mortgages, ensuring they find the best solutions tailored to their unique needs. I make it my priority to be direct and honest with my clients, ensuring they fully understand every aspect of their mortgage journey. This transparency not only builds trust but also empowers my clients to make well-informed decisions about their financial future. My commitment to that approach goes beyond the professional realm; these values reflect my personal belief in the importance of integrity and empathy in all interactions. I approach each person’s situation with genuine compassion, recognizing that behind every mortgage application is a unique story and a dream to call a house a home.  My goal is to walk alongside my borrowers every step of the way, providing a seamless mortgage process as well as creating lasting relationships with each and every one.

When I am not helping my borrowers with their mortgage needs, I am busy with my 3 sons. My oldest son serves proudly in the United States Marine Corps, and is stationed in Iwakuni, Japan.  My middle son is a senior in high school, plays on the basketball team and is busy filling out college applications. My youngest son is in 1st grade, loves dinosaurs and is fairly certain he will grow up to be a Paleontologist – he is probably right! If there is free time after that, you will find me with a good book, podcast, or crocheting something beautiful!
